Citizens from Washington Township near the community of Folsom attended the Highland County Commissioners meeting last week. The citizens shared concerns stemming from a proposed Christian Center, that would be used to rehabilitate people addicted to drugs and alcohol.
The Christian Center is part of the Mission Teens Organization, which was began by Rev James D Bracken in 1969. Executive Director Anita Thayer was on hand from Mission Teens to answer some question proponded by the Washington Twp. Trustees and members of the community.
I asked that the Mission Teens Organization keep open lines of communication to the Community as they move on with plans.
